There are many homeowners who may want to do the installation themselves. A few caveats are in order tho. You must measure your own job very carefully, and if you measure wrong we will not feel responsible. We are also not responsible for the quality of the installation unless our installers do the job. How to Measure your Job

  1. Draw a to-scale floor plan of your area to be railed.
  2. Measure in from edges and corner to a solid foundation for the posts.
  3. Measure from wall to first corner working clockwise.
  4. Decide which connectors you need.
  5. Measure picket sections to fit between connectors.
  6. Stair rail sections must be ordered as such.

How to Order Elements

  1. Fax it to us at 573-308-1541.
  2. We will figure cost and shipping, then contact you.
  3. If you accept bid, you can pay with Mastercard or VISA.
  4. When payment is approved, we will ship your order.

Tools Required

  1. Tape measure.
  2. Electric drill, with appropriate bits.
  3. Hack saw or reciprocal saw with fine metal cutting blade.
  4. Rubber mallet.
  5. Gloves.

  1. Deckrails company is not responsible for customer's incorrect measurement or planning.
  2. We are not responsible for the quality of the installation if we do not do the installation.
  3. Return shipping of the undamaged materials must be paid by customer. Damaged materials will not be reimbursed.
